Recording Studio

Dorian Studios provide all aspects of recording that great CD for demos or for release as an independant CD.

Our studio service provides great value for your time and money. If you have the next music project in mind give our studio a try.

Our Studio Rates

  • Hourly: $25 + GST(includes use of studio and engineer's time)
  • Mixing time: $20 + GST per song (up to 5 tracks) additional $5 per track there after.
  • Mastering time: $20 + GST per song.
  • Complete Demo Package:$320 + GST(10 HRS of recording time and this includes all mixing and mastering time for up to 3 songs. Additional cost for mixing and mastering time for 4th or more songs.)
  • Full CD package: $1000 + GST (up 25 hours of recording time and includes mixing and mastering time for ALL songs)

Our Cassette to CD Conversion Rate

  • $20 + GST to convert cassette tape to CD for a 60 minute cassette tape. You get one master CD. Additional $10 per 30 minutes. This service includes post conversion processing of hiss removal and click/pop removal.
  • Additional CDs cost $3.00 each (if it is less than 100) otherwise $2.00 for 100 or more.

    • Our Video Tape to DVD Conversion Rate

  • $40 + GST to convert video tape (VHS, DIGITAL 8, Mini-DV) to DVD. You get one DVD with a basic menu. Customized menus are addtional cost of $40.
  • $10 to add a picture slideshow to the DVD. All pictures must be in digital format. Scanning time for paper pictures is addtional $.50 per photo.
